Apartment Renovation Process
Each apartment is unique, and each renovation project requires a unique plan. At DKR, we take you through the process of renovation and ensure that every aspect, from living rooms to bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms, is functional, durable, and beautiful. The weekly schedule is estimated based on our past clients and is different for every apartment’s needs.
Initial Assessment & Planning (Day 1–3)
Our team comes to your apartment to inspect all rooms. We observe room layouts, walls, plumbing, electrical wiring, and storage requirements. We discuss your lifestyle, habits, and design preferences. We create a 3D design mockup indicating furniture placement, lighting, storage space, and materials. You approve the design before we begin any work.
Demolition & Preparation (Week 1)
We carefully remove the old flooring, cabinets, bathroom fixtures, and wall surfaces. We install dust protection and coverings to prevent the rest of your apartment from getting dirty. We label plumbing and electrical points that will be renovated or replaced to minimize disruption.
Structural & Utility Work (Week 2–3)
We implement any necessary changes to the structure, such as opening walls to enhance flow. Plumbers and electricians install new pipes, lines, and circuits for the kitchen, bathrooms, and living areas. We monitor all changes to Dubai regulations to remain safe and in compliance.
Flooring, Carpentry & Cabinetry (Week 3–5)
We design and install custom cabinets in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms using laminated MDF, hardwood, or moisture-resistant plywood. We install engineered wood or tile flooring throughout the apartment. Our lead specialists inspect every hinge, drawer slide, and floor to ensure precision and smooth operation.
Fixtures, Lighting & Finishes (Week 5–6)
We also install bathroom fixtures, faucets, showers, kitchen appliances, lighting, and wall finishes. Each component is evaluated based on how well it functions, lasts, and is easy to use. We also provide ambient and task lighting to make the apartment comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
Final Adjustments & Handover (Week 6)
